I often play this game with my mates, on evening walks, or on drinks, or as a filler on card nights. We one by one tell the other players that one thing which we didn't find in our origins and found it in Delhi. This could be anything. Anything material, spiritual, emotional or any-nal... We get a lot more of the things we don't know about and even the sentiments those things have attached to the players. I being a big foodie, always start with the very famous and tasty chola-kulcha. Though this game is a light one, this very often helps people loosen their heavy hearts, a bit atleast. This blogpost just compiles my inferences on the kinds of people there are. Though not all kinds, but a few. And since I play this only with people I know more than enough, this is best to my knowledge.
The examples I've got till date are so diverse that I think there couldn't have been more languages in India. There are people who give Pind Baluchi, Parathe wali gali, chole kulche. The food festival. These are people like me, people light at heart, and born with a vibrant tongue. These are the people who would find merry wherever they go. These also include the people who give hot pants as an example, or pretty faces or, we understand. There are people who give big cars, heavy traffic, more than rich people, and the likes as examples. These are the people with high aims and big dreams. These people give emotions a lesser weightage when it comes to their dreams. Though this is in their rationale, I don't judge their nature. Then there are people who give examples of lesser friendly people around, of bitter hearts and of so money driven idiots. These are the people who have been struck by the dark side of the moon. They've been in that dark part once or twice and think the moon to be dark and cold.
Though I've segregated these people, these don't stand segregated. The nature keeps on shifting, the nature depends on the timing, past experiences.
I being a Marley fan always thought this to be a song made by a cool singer for a cool topic. Well, it's not cool to be offensive though to a certain womankind. But then today I read about what it really means. It says, "no woman? don't cry." in a certain Jamaican vocab of which Bob Marley was a container of, and this was written for his wife Rita Marley who underwent great austerities with him until he was not successful. As the world celebrates the respect and love towards a a certain sect of Homo Sapiens usually characterized by long hair and a warm heart, I recall my life, pressing on the rewind button and counting those kind on my fingers. well, I certainly have very few a fingers to count that. I remember her doing my hair, washing me, cooking for me, being my support, wiping my tears. She even fought a teacher for me. She who made a hell lot of sacrifices for me. She who even before my birth fought with her...
